I wanted to let you all know that I am closing down this particular blog. I have a NEW BLOG on my actual site now. It will not look too different than what you are used to viewing here. I am just thrilled that I was able to finally do this. It has been on my "to-do" list for 2008. Actually, I can't take any of the credit. Theresa Stanton of Design Focus Studios is not only a wonderful Photographer but also very knowledgeable in CSS and html editing and customization. She rocks the house (to be quite honest). I love her. She helped me get this all started. If you would like to do the same, PLEASE contact her at the link below:
See you there!!! I'll keep this blog for about a week (will not be updated) to give clients a chance to view this announcement and be aware of the new blog.
My new blog is: Sherri Winstead Photography Blog
I hope to see you there!
FILLING UP FAST. I'm so happy and blessed by this, but I only take a limited number of sessions per month, so if you'd like to schedule - do it fast. <grin>
March will be a shorter month for me as my oldest son will be having surgery, thus I will be taking some time off to care for him during his recovery.
I just wanted to let my clients know about the current schedule. I will be updating my website with April's availability before too long.
Have a wonderful day and enjoy this warm weather. I love it!
Just a quick sneak peek because I'm sure you're anxious to see your daughter's gallery soon! And..you will!!
Have a wonderful day!

I love that they were up for wide angle, fun portraits as well! I had so much fun with her...(and her family of course).
I love it...and actually prefer it in black and white.
oohhhh. I love this one!!! I love her tongue almost sticking out!
And another in b/w...they don't always have to be looking at the camera to make a great portrait.
His gallery has been up now, so I can share a few more of this little guy..
Love the WALL color and the crosses showing in the mirror (and of course their baby boy, too).
And you know me- put the babies anywhere they let me.
Until next time. All I've had are NEWBORNS and one 8 month old baby girl...sweet!!!
The little girl WILL be next by the way.
I am proofing the Wiles family now, but...I had to share this family really quick. This was a very long session, but it paid off in the end because he slept..and slept hard. I think he realized how much he LOVED the heating pad. Also, Mom was great at picking him up and placing him on this table without waking him. He's such a beautiful boy I tell you!!!!
And of course my favorite family shot (for the most part as I only skimmed over their session). She finally got him to sleep, and I said "that's it...turn him a little..SNAP". Got it - so happy I did too!!

I love this one in color AND black and white.
I'll share more from the newborn I'm proofing now when I have the chance. I've been so busy...whew!
See you next time!
He was so little! He had this mature face about him, yet he's so tiny and so little. It's pretty neat because my youngest son was the same way. It brought back memories of my baby boy.
To me, he's a good mixture of both Mom and Dad. (usually it's one or the other - not in this case). Look at him!! He gave me a few "serious" looks too. He was wondering what the heck was going on around him. We got some REALLY sweet ones of him in other rooms.. But..you'll have to wait to see those.
A few for now.
Here are a few that I LOVE LOVE LOVE...... Those in the Santa hat make my heart VERY happy! She's a doll.
Meet 3 month old baby Riley.
You'll receive your gallery soon.......keep a watch for it.
Love the ones of them outside...
Last one - love her fingers...love this. "In Daddy's Hands Forever"....sigh!
WAIT to proof this little man's session. He is so precious, and he was SOOOO good for a newborn.
He's looking at you Mama and Daddy and says "hi". I can't wait to show you my gallery.
I love when I can photograph newborns in their home, with natural light. I LOVEEEE this shot!
The Washburn Family will be next....next week! Yeah.... I'll do a sneak peek for you as well....you watch.
Hello there. You should have your gallery by tomorrow night Salyer Family! I am excited to share your gallery. Even though it ALMOST rained, I was thankful I was able to use my "light on a stick" because we were able to get some gorgeous images.
From the start of the session - a few for you. Gorgeous parents, don't you think? (kids too, of course).

last one. I LOVE black and white portraits!
Until next time...
